On 3/18/2015, Harrison Hartley had a health scare that turned out to be (thankfully) nothing. Chest X-rays were taken that morning to find nothing significant. The previous week before, Harrison had come into possession of one of the original multi-effect boxes originally used in his solo guitar project "House On Fire" in 2006. After pondering about recording with the old equipment, Jubb commented the XRays should be used for cover art on an album titled "Inside Harrison Hartley." The idea was so insidious that a little over an hour after he returned from the hospital, he started tracking the two improvisations that make up this EP.
